Granny D's(CL)- Granny's is one of the best places at the Lake for good home-style recipes and comfort food. They seem to be busy nearly all the time they are open, meaning that sometimes you might have to be patient with the service. The food is usually worth it.

Visit Historic Gruene, Texas for local shopping and dance at the oldest dance hall.

Gruene Hall- Gruene Hall, built in 1878, is Texas’ oldest continually operating and most famous dance hall. By design, not much has physically changed since the Hall was first built. The 6,000 square foot dance hall with a high pitched tin roof still has the original layout with side flaps for open air dancing, a bar in the front, a small lighted stage in the back and a huge outdoor garden.

Downtown Social- We've got a variety of games, food and drinks already happening under one roof, but have you heard about our daily events? On Wednesdays, we host trivia nights and offer cash prizes. Sundays are our fundays with happy hour all day and we provide the lanes, the balls and the boards for free game night. We've made sure our food options are expansive for any dietary restrictions, and are of high quality.
